The case of the disappearing suitcase

My poor husband is not having a good trip. He was supposed to leave Albuquerque Monday morning at 9:30 am but his flight on American was cancelled because of maintenance issues (Hmmm, I'm noticing a trend with these American flights). He finally made it to DC and wouldn't you know it, his luggage didn't make it! He waited in the airport until almost 1 am for the last flight from Dallas to get in to see if his bag was on that flight....it wasn't. This morning he headed back to the airport to see if he could find out anything. The lady he spoke with thought the bag was in Dallas and would be arriving by 11 am. But when the flight arrived, no bag! At this point Bob was feeling very unsettled. He is accepting an award tonight and was supposed to be wearing his military dress uniform, which of course was in the suitcase. He demanded that the airline provide him something comparable to wear so right this second he is trying to find a blue suit to buy. Then he has to go back to the airport to get reimbursed. If his bag never shows up the airline will replace all his clothes including the dress uniform, a set of BDU's and boots and of course all the Detroit Tigers shirts that he took along. We're praying the bag will show up so we don't have to worry about replacing everything and Bob is vowing never to fly American Airlines again. My poor sweetie.

I am so sorry he is having to deal with this! Yuck!
I sent Abigail's birthday gift today, so it should be arriving in 7-10 business days, just so you know it is coming.
