This past week was great because my mom was here to visit us. We had a great time just hanging out and getting ready for Chloe's birthday tea. It's so funny when my mom and I are together because almost instantly we notice that we say the EXACT same thing at the EXACT same time! It really is uncanny!! How does this happen? And it's even more funny because our voices are very similar so it's like hearing yourself in stereo. And it happens every time we are together. We always just look at each other and smile. Great minds....
Having mom here was wonderful because it helped get all our minds off the fact that Bob has gone back to finish his deployment. We knew this would be difficult on all of us, so it was particularly nice to have mom come now. She's always ready and willing to come when I need her! Thanks MOM! :)
We're looking forward to more visitors in February and hopefully our last 80 days without daddy will go by superfast!

Your mother must have been about 3 when she had you because NO WAY does she look old enough to be your mom! Obviously she's found the Fountain of Youth. How wonderful to have her come for a visit.
Thank you, Sandcastle Momma! And thank you, Susie -- I had a great time with you and the kids! I told Dad last night that it seemed awfully quiet at our house here! No little voices calling "Gammie"...and would you believe that I DIDN'T sleep in this morning, but woke up at 6 am!
